Map Port Mapper works with a network device and gives you information about the devices connected to it and which ports are not connected. For each connected port, the software displays the MAC address, IP address and hostnames of computers associated with that port. In addition, the software can display each client's NIC vendor, port speed, and erroneous and dropped frames per port. This can be helpful when troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
