Works with any PCI/USB/HD Audio sound device.
There are 2 working modes, hardware and software.
- Hardware mode for X-Fi and Audigy soundcards with a hardware DSP (EMU10Kx or CA20K1).
- Software mode for all other sound devices or when hardware mode fails to initialize.
- Includes the latest game database from ALchemy 1.00.30.
This version is recommended for Live! (4.1 or 5.1) because the modified version that uses hardware OpenAL cannot properly render DS3D / DS3D+EAX buffers.

Make sure you have the latest sound drivers for Windows Vista installed.
This version is based on the \"free\" X-Fi version of ALchemy.
