A Coventry Metal band formed from ex-members of SCHARNHORST and MAINLINE the trio released the NWoBHM single ‘Police And Politicians’ in 1980 and would issue two further EP's ('Down Down' & 'Massacre'), up to 1984, although original bassist Brian Evans was replaced by ex-WITHERED MAN member Martin Orum in 1981.
CHAINSAW’s drummer Mark Biddiscombe later quit to join BITCHES SIN and his position was taken by Rich Carroll. Biddiscombe later wound up with melodic Rockers TAPANZEE.
