** What’s new on Windows 11 26H1 28000.1896 **

* Narrator adds AI image descriptions *

Narrator now delivers rich image descriptions across all Windows 11 devices by integrating directly with Copilot. You can press “Narrator key + Ctrl + D” to describe a focused image or “Narrator key + Ctrl + S” to describe the full screen.

* Smart App Control can now be disabled without reinstalling *

Windows 11 now lets you enable or disable Smart App Control (SAC) without a clean installation. The option is available under Windows Security > App & Browser Control > Smart App Control.

* Pen settings gain new Copilot button customization*

The Pen settings page now includes improved configuration for the pen tail button. A new option labeled “Same as Copilot key” allows the button to launch the same app assigned to the Copilot key, making it easier to align pen actions with system shortcuts.
