Petite (5'2"), busty and curvy blonde Brooke Haven was born Serena Maria Maffucci on November 25, 1979. She is of mixed Irish, Italian and Venezuelan descent.

Brooke grew up in the small provincial town of Sonora in Southern California. Her first job was at Taco Bell at age 14. At 19, Haven moved to San Francisco and began her career in the adult entertainment industry, working for three and a half years as a stripper at the club Deja Vu. Brooke subsequently moved to Phoenix, Arizona, and continued working as a dancer at the cabaret club Club Le Girls. During this time, Haven met future  actress Lexi Marie and posed with her for Playboy magazine. She then landed a job at the Erotica LA adult conference in Los Angeles.
